Job Summary:

The Truss Stacker is responsible for efficiently and safely stacking completed wood trusses coming off the assembly line. This position plays a critical role in maintaining workflow and ensuring trusses are properly organized for storage, loading, and delivery. The role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and a commitment to safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

Safely stack and organize finished trusses according to size, type, and job order. Work closely with assembly line workers, forklift operators, and loaders to ensure efficient material flow. Inspect trusses for quality and damage before stacking. Place proper blocking or dunnage between trusses to prevent damage during transport. Keep work area clean and free of debris to maintain a safe working environment. Assist with tagging and labeling trusses for shipment as needed. Follow all company safety procedures, including wearing appropriate PPE. Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions to supervisor immediately. May assist in other general labor tasks as required. IND-ELS
