SUMMARY Performs all job functions to pack and/or hand stack cases to insure that cases are processed efficiently according to company guidelines, and insures that cases and pallets meet all production criteria.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
: Packer Form packing boxes and place individual packets into cases according to prescribed counts. Assist Machine Operators in running packaging machines. May perform Machine Operator duties on a temporary, fill-in basis Stacker Stack cases of product from conveyors to pallets; adhering to book of drawings for pallet configuration. Change date on date coder daily. Tape damaged cases, or return them to machine operators Keep cases square and tight on pallet. Sort damaged and overrun cases. Packer/Stacker Complete, verify, and maintain legible and accurate reports and other documents Monitor quality standards and advise machine operators of any issues. Maintain clean and organized work areas Maintain prescribed standards of safety, training and quality. Maintain regular, dependable and reliable attendance. Comply with all company policies. Complete all other assigned duties as required.

EXPERIENCE
: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
LANGUAGE SKILLS
: Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand long periods of time; use hands to finger, handle, feel and lift; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee is occasionally required to walk. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision. Employee must wear proper safety equipment.
