Join Our Community of Food People! Select, pack and place product on pallets while adhering to USDA Safety and Sanitation Regulations and customer specifications.
Work Schedule:
Sunday 4:45pm
  • Until Completion and Monday
  • Thursday 5:45pm
  • Until Completion ;
Rotating Fridays Starting Pay:
$20.00/hr
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain the pallet areas of the warehouse Unload and stage the backhaul loads when needed General organization of the docks Assist with short running and sub labels Ability to work as an order selector when necessary Select and pack orders per customer specification Scan product as directed to capture required data Transport product in warehouse and production floor utilizing assigned equipment Sort, organize, repack, track, weigh and break down various products to assist production as needed Ship and receive product utilizing assigned material handling equipment Perform various facility sanitation duties as required Operate assigned production equipment when needed
QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Training:
High School Diploma/GED preferred. Must be able to read, write and communicate in English as it relates to the job and to the safety regulations. Must have basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide). Must be able to work continually in a refrigerated environment 35°F
  • 45°F. Must be able to work for periods of time in a freezer environment
  • 10°F to +10°F with company provided apparel.
Finish time is when work is completed and could require overtime with or without notice.
Related Experience/Requirements:
Minimum one year production and/or warehouse experience required, preferably in a food environment, some computer experience a plus
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Perform various roles including activities such as product receiving and selection, packaging, sorting, reboxing, marination, further processing and facility sanitation while adhering to company manufacturing requirements and safety regulations Compensation depends on relevant experience and/or education, specific skills, function, geographic location, and other factors as applicable by law (for example: state minimum wage thresholds). The expected base rate for this role is $20.00/hr.
