The main focus of your job will only be for half of the day, the remaining half would be helping out others around the shop and prepping for the next day of orders. We are looking for people who want to grow with us and help us with warehousing and inventory management. Responsibilities Accurately pick items using order picker equipment, RF scanners, barcode scanning systems, and manual handling techniques to fulfill customer orders efficiently. Operate heavy equipment such as pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely in accordance with safety protocols. Pack products securely using appropriate packaging materials to prevent damage during transit while maintaining quality standards. Manage inventory by stocking shelves, updating inventory management systems, and conducting regular stock counts to ensure stock accuracy. Load and unload paper shipments using proper lifting techniques and heavy equipment, adhering to safety guidelines for manual handling and PPE use. Perform shipping and receiving duties, including verifying shipments against purchase orders and maintaining accurate records within warehouse management systems. Conduct quality control checks during picking and packing processes to ensure order accuracy and completeness before dispatching. Experience Prior experience working in a warehouse environment with familiarity in warehouse operations such as order fulfillment, inventory management, shipping & receiving, and distribution. Hands-on experience operating warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, barcode scanning devices, pallet jacks, and other heavy equipment required for materials handling. Demonstrated ability to perform manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting while following safety protocols. Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures including PPE use, safe load & unload practices, and adherence to safety protocols at all times. Strong organizational skills with the ability to perform basic math calculations for inventory counts and order processing. Experience working under supervision or as part of a team in fast-paced warehouse settings with a focus on accuracy and efficiency. High attention to detail is required, the items can be very similar and tricky to identify. This role is ideal for motivated individuals eager to contribute to a building an efficient warehouse environment while developing their skills in logistics operations.
