Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Picker/Packer to join our dynamic warehouse team. Duties Use RF scanners, barcode scanning technology, and warehouse management systems to accurately pick and verify customer orders. Operate heavy equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, cherry pickers, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently. Pack items securely using appropriate packaging materials to prevent damage during transit while maintaining quality standards. Load and unload shipments with proper handling techniques, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times. Maintain accurate inventory records by performing regular stock counts, updating inventory management systems, and managing stock levels. Assist in shipping and receiving processes by verifying incoming shipments against purchase orders and preparing outgoing orders for dispatch. Follow safety procedures diligently, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), manual handling techniques, and adherence to warehouse safety protocols. Requirements Proven experience operating warehouse equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, cherry pickers, pallet jacks, and RF scanners. Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory management practices. Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and stock movement with precision. Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying quantities accurately. Prior experience in order picking, packing, shipping & receiving, or warehouse distribution is highly preferred.
