This program includes establishing measurable objectives for product safety and quality, along with employee training and development programs.Role Summary:
The Gluing Palletizer is responsible for safely stacking, organizing, inspecting, and preparing glued cartons or other converted products at the discharge end of the gluing line for shipment or further processing. This role supports efficient operation of the gluer by monitoring product quality, maintaining accurate counts, labeling finished loads, and ensuring pallets are stable and compliant with company and customer specifications. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Receive finished, glued cartons or similar converted products from the gluer discharge conveyor. Stack products on pallets according to specified patterns, quantities, and customer requirements. Check sealed boxes of finished product coming from the production line to ensure they are labeled, taped and completed per customer specification. Stack loads to required height, weight, and stability standards using stretch‑wrap, corner boards, slip sheets, or other stabilizing materials. Operate pallet jacks (manual or powered) and other material‑handling equipment in accordance with safety and training requirements. Maintain product flow from the gluer to the palletizing area to prevent jams and minimize downtime. Assist with feeding cartons at the gluer infeed as directed, during changeovers, or to relieve other team members. Remove completed pallets to designated staging, warehouse, or shipping areas in coordination with Shipping/Receiving. Communicate effectively with Gluing Operators, Supervisors, Quality, and Shipping. Maintain housekeeping in and around gluers. Other duties as assigned.Safety Policies and Practices:
Follow all Plant rules, Processes, and Hygiene procedures, related to production of Safe Quality Foods. All employees are required to wear safety glasses and steel toe shoes while in the manufacturing area. Sound protection is required in designated areas. Keep work area clean and organized: remove scrap, sweep, and maintain clear walkways in accordance with housekeeping standards. Qualifications High school diploma or GED Prior experience in a manufacturing, printing, packaging, or warehouse environment preferred. Basic computer proficiency is required. Must be able to understand, communicate, and understand directions in English as needed. Frequently stand and walk for extended periods (e.g., 812 hour shifts). Frequently lift, push, pull, or carry materials typically up to 3550 lbs; occasionally up to higher weights with team lifts or mechanical assistance. Frequent reaching, stooping, bending, twisting, and handling stacks of cartons. The individual must be capable of operating without direct supervision.Schedule:
Full time positions: 2:00pm 12am (2nd Shift), and 9:00pm 5:00am (3rd shift) Overtime, weekends, and holidays based on production needs.Salary:
