Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated Packing Associate to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently and accurately packing products in accordance with quality standards, safety protocols, and manufacturing procedures. The ideal candidate will play a vital part in ensuring timely order fulfillment, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety, and supporting overall production operations. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where attention to detail and mechanical aptitude are highly valued. Responsibilities Operate packaging equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to manufacturing standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety standards. Interpret production documents and work instructions to ensure correct packaging specifications are met. Handle materials and products carefully, including heavy lifting when necessary, to prevent damage and ensure quality. Utilize material handling equipment such as forklifts and other warehouse operations tools following safety protocols. Conduct mechanical troubleshooting on packaging machinery and industrial equipment to minimize downtime. Maintain cleanliness of the work area, follow GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) guidelines, and ensure compliance with FDA regulations. Assist with inventory management by organizing materials, verifying stock levels, and preparing products for shipment. Perform basic math calculations for measurements, quantities, or adjustments during packaging processes. Support assembly tasks related to packaging components or product preparation as needed. Follow safety procedures rigorously to promote a safe working environment for all team members. Skills Knowledge of manufacturing facility operations and experience working within a GMP or FDA-regulated environment. Familiarity with packaging equipment, industrial machinery troubleshooting, and materials handling techniques. Ability to interpret production documents accurately and follow detailed instructions. Mechanical knowledge related to industrial equipment maintenance and troubleshooting. Experience operating material handling equipment such as forklifts safely. Strong understanding of safety standards in production environments and adherence to safety protocol guidelines. Basic math skills for measurements, inventory counts, and quality checks. Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members across warehouse operations and manufacturing functions. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail throughout the packing process. This role is essential in ensuring that our products are packaged correctly, safely, and efficiently while upholding the highest standards of quality. Pay:
$15.00 - $16.50 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
