As a US manufacturer of connectors and cables, Switchcraft/Conxall continues to grow by releasing innovative new products and working directly with OEM design engineers to solve their biggest connectivity challenges. Switchcraft is currently searching for a Stock Handler for the warehouse.
Location:
Jefferson Park, Chicago, IL Shift:
1st shift 7am-3:30pm
Pay:
$18.10/hour
Job Duties:
Loads, unloads, and conveys material within the plant Required to read work orders or follow instructions given by supervisor to ascertain material or containers to be moved Must be able to count and weigh material and records all information on a form Load and unload material onto pallets, trays, or machines by hand. Must be able to convey material from storage of given department to designate area or between workers or department using handtrucks or other given devices Remove samples of materials, label them with identifying information Aid operators by lifting heavy objects, also may place plastic material into hoppers of molding machines Handles the more difficult jobs as far as picking parts, etc. Must be able to use his/her own initiative in his/her work as well as documenting all work that is required for the stockroom department
Requirements:
