Job Description

Hiwin Corporation is the leader in the innovation and manufacturing of motion control and mechatronic system technology. We are one of the largest producers in the world of linear motion components such as: linear guideways, ballscrews, linear motors and stages. The Packer I is responsible for fulfilling orders by arranging finished products in the appropriate shipping containers and preparing them for shipment in a safe and efficient manner. A typical day as a Packer can include: Weighs, packs, and labels completed items for UPS/Fed Ex ground shipping; Verifies shipping paperwork against contents, count/weight, product and shipping instructions and address; Properly uses packaging materials, including hand tools, glues, nails, padding, etc.; Stages packaged goods in proper area to be sent out to customers; Follows all company guidelines regarding packaging to ensure items arrive at their destination; Adheres to all company safety processes and procedures; Keeps working space clean and organized.
An ideal candidate would:
High School Diploma or equivalent is required; Ability to use hand tools safety and to read a tape measure; Good problem-solving and organizational skills; Ability to work independently or a part of a team; Meticulous attention to detail; Ability to carry/lift up to 50 pounds; Basic math and computer data entry skills.
