ND SHIFT:
1:45PM-10:15PM 3RD SHIFT:
9:45PM-6:15AM $20.75/hr Job Description The Packer plays a key role in maintaining a steady flow of production by operating and supporting various packaging machinery. This position focuses on accurately packaging products, handling materials and pallets, and following all standard operating procedures and departmental guidelines to ensure quality, safety, and efficiency. The role also contributes to continuous improvement by identifying and recommending solutions to potential personnel and equipment issues that may affect operations. Responsibilities Operate and support various packaging machinery to maintain a consistent and efficient flow of production. Perform traying-on and traying-off activities to prepare products for packaging and shipment. Carry out nano-packaging and other packaging processes according to established specifications and standards. Move and organize pallets to support production and shipping activities, using manual and battery-operated pallet jacks as needed. Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs) and departmental procedures to ensure product quality and regulatory compliance. Conduct visual inspections of products and packaging to verify quality, accuracy, and proper labeling. Perform repetitive tasks on machinery producing approximately 150-400 units per minute while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail. Identify potential personnel- and equipment-related issues that could impact operations and promptly communicate or recommend improvements. Maintain a clean and orderly work area in alignment with cleanroom standards and safety guidelines. Handle, lift, and transport materials and products as required to support ongoing production. Essential Skills High school diploma or GED required. Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and transport objects weighing up to 80 lbs. Ability to perform repetitive work on high-speed machinery producing approximately 150-400 units per minute. Strong attention to detail for visual inspection and accurate labeling of products and packaging. Basic proficiency in packing, packaging, picking, and inspecting tasks. Ability to follow detailed standard operating procedures and departmental guidelines. Reliability in adhering to assigned 2nd or 3rd shift schedules. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience operating manual and battery-operated pallet jacks preferred. Previous experience in packing, packaging, picking, and inspecting in a production or warehouse environment is beneficial. Comfort working with repetitive tasks while maintaining focus and quality. Ability to communicate clearly with team members about operational issues and potential improvements. Why Work Here? The position follows set shift schedules, including 2nd shift from 1:45 PM to 10:15 PM and 3rd shift from 9:45 PM to 6:15 AM. The work involves frequent standing, repetitive motions, lifting up to 40 lbs, and transporting objects up to 80 lbs, as well as moving pallets using manual and battery-operated pallet jacks. The environment is structured, process-driven, and safety-focused, with clear expectations for following SOPs and maintaining cleanroom standards. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.75 - $20.75/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
