Job Title:
Packaging Operator Job Description The Packaging Operator is responsible for the final packaging of various flavor products, including powders, spray dry, liquids, emulsions, and extracts, according to batch ticket directions. This role requires close collaboration with Batch Processors to ensure that packaging is carried out with a focus on food safety, quality, efficiency, and accuracy. Operators may handle machinery such as mixers, spray dryers, and blending tanks, and must be proficient in reading labels and following safety procedures. Responsibilities Package the correct finished product quantity with accurate labeling requirements. Monitor production and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation. Record operational and production data on specified forms. Transfer materials, supplies, and products between work areas using equipment and forklifts. Communicate any food safety concerns to shift leads or management. Follow SOPs, including equipment sanitation after each batch. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wauconda, IL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $20.50/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
