Work Boots Steel-toed work boots required Position Summary We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Warehouse Order Picker to accurately pick customer orders, support outbound shipping operations, and maintain an organized facility. The successful candidate will use a scanner-based warehouse management system, communicate effectively with coworkers, and work with a strong sense of urgency while maintaining accuracy and safety. Requirements General knowledge of electrical products. Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers to help satisfy customer requirements. Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations accurately. Ability to organize and prioritize job tasks and requirements. Ability and willingness to operate a forklift or other powered industrial truck (PIT) equipment. Key Responsibilities Promote a positive working environment based on teamwork, mutual respect, and adherence to the organization's principles and values. Pick customer orders of all types accurately and in a timely manner. Determine whether orders can ship using the method indicated on the picking ticket and take the necessary action to resolve incompatible shipping methods. Provide picked orders to the shipping team or will-call support for outbound processing. Use a scanner and warehouse management system to pick orders and put away material after receipt. Apply analytical problem-solving skills to resolve day-to-day inventory issues that affect order-picking processes. Participate in daily cleaning and upkeep of the facility. Follow all company policies and procedures while demonstrating a strong work ethic and honesty. Work with a high sense of urgency while remaining highly organized and detail-oriented. Remain open to change and handle high-stress situations calmly and effectively. Perform additional duties and responsibilities as business needs may dictate. Qualifications Able to meet deadlines. Excellent attendance record required. Able to work overtime as needed.
