What You'll Do ( full job description available at interview ): Inspection § Performs all functions involved in auditing, documenting, inspecting, and packaging of metal test strips. § Audits incoming coil samples to verify acceptability for shearing. § Audits sample strips from each coil prior to inspection. § Documents audit data and files appropriately. § Processes metal test strips according to Quality Procedure Qp 21.0. § Notifies Production/Purchasing Manager of problems or discrepancies. § Shrink wraps packages. § Moves finished product to inventory shelves, keeps shelves organized, and rotates stock to insure older product is moved to the front for first-in first-out shipping. § Makes product labels for boxes. § Participates in year-end physical inventory. § Enters data for Certificates of Conformance and histograms. § Operates calipers, micrometers, gages, and Rockwell hardness instruments. Assembly § Assembly of valves and sensors which includes calibration of valves and inspection of finished product for shipments. Safety and Compliance § Follow company safety policies and procedures § Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) if necessary § Report unsafe conditions, incidents, or near misses § Support OSHA, quality, and company operational standards
What You Need:
§ High school diploma or equivalent. § Computer skills and comfort with accurate data entry. § Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. § Basic math skills including reading fractions and decimals. § Dependable attendance and strong work ethic. § Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment, communicate respectfully and directly, ask for help when needed, and raise errors, concerns, and safety issues promptly. § Maintain a physically safe environment. It would be helpful if you had: § Experience with inspection or quality support processes. § Familiarity with inventory systems, barcode scanning, and ERP software.
