Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Packer specializing in Industrial Plastics to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently packaging plastic components and finished products while adhering to strict safety and quality standards. Your focus will be on ensuring that all items are correctly packed, labeled, and prepared for shipment, maintaining the integrity of our products throughout the process. Responsibilities Operate packaging equipment and hand tools to securely pack industrial plastic products according to manufacturing procedures. Interpret production documents, including work orders and packing instructions, to ensure accurate packaging specifications. Handle materials with care using appropriate material handling equipment such as forklifts and conveyor systems, following safety protocols. Conduct quality checks on packaged items to verify proper labeling, integrity, and compliance with FDA regulations and GMP standards. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety standards in production environments and warehouse operations. Troubleshoot mechanical issues with packaging machinery or industrial equipment promptly to minimize downtime. Assist with inventory management by accurately recording packaged materials and updating production logs as required. Experience Prior experience in manufacturing facilities, especially within plastics or similar industries, is highly preferred. Familiarity with packaging equipment, hand tools, and material handling equipment operation is essential. Knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice), FDA regulations, CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practice), and safety standards in production environments. Ability to interpret manufacturing standard operating procedures (SOPs) and production documents accurately. Mechanical troubleshooting skills combined with basic math proficiency are advantageous for maintaining equipment functionality. Warehouse experience including forklift operation and heavy lifting is desirable but not mandatory.
