Job Description
Job Description We are seeking an experienced and dependable Order Picker to join a fast-paced warehouse team. This position is responsible for accurately picking, palletizing, wrapping, weighing, and staging customer orders for shipment using printed pick tickets and verbal instructions. The Order Picker will also assist with stocking inventory, rotating materials using FIFO procedures, verifying completed orders, operating warehouse equipment, entering information into warehouse systems, and communicating with shipping, receiving, and production teams. Responsibilities Pick customer orders accurately using printed pick tickets and verbal instructions Palletize, wrap, weigh, label, and stage completed orders for shipment Verify items, quantities, and order accuracy Review orders picked by other team members for accuracy Put away incoming stock in designated warehouse locations Rotate inventory using FIFO procedures Operate pallet jacks, reach trucks, forklifts, and other warehouse equipment Move materials safely throughout the warehouse Enter order and inventory information into warehouse computer systems Communicate with shipping, receiving, warehouse, and production staff Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Meet daily productivity goals and shipment deadlines Complete additional warehouse duties as assigned Requirements High school diploma, GED, or equivalent At least two years of warehouse, shipping, receiving, or order-picking experience Forklift certification preferred Must be able to complete in-house equipment certification Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions in English Basic math and computer skills Strong organization and attention to detail Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Experience operating pallet jacks, reach trucks, and forklifts Ability to stand and walk for most of the shift Ability to bend, kneel, stoop, and crouch as needed Ability to regularly lift and move materials weighing up to 40 pounds Join a busy warehouse team where accuracy, safety, and reliability are valued.
