Job Description

HOURS- 8a-4:30p M-F 2nd shift; 4p-12:30pm M-F We are seeking motivated and detail-oriented Packers to join our manufacturing and packaging team, with positions starting immediately. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently packing products in accordance with quality standards and safety regulations. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals eager to contribute to a fast-paced environment, ensuring timely preparation of goods for shipment while maintaining high standards of accuracy and cleanliness. The ideal candidate will be proactive, mechanically inclined, and comfortable working with various tools and equipment. Responsibilities Safely operate hand tools and packaging equipment to assemble and pack products according to specifications Follow established procedures to ensure compliance with FDA regulations, CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices), and safety standards Use forklifts and warehouse experience to transport materials within the facility efficiently Conduct quality checks on packed items to verify accuracy and integrity before shipment Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times Assist with mechanical troubleshooting of packaging machinery and programmable logic controllers (PLCs) as needed Support assembly processes by handling components with precision and attention to detail Utilize mechanical knowledge and hand tools for minor repairs or adjustments on packaging equipment Collaborate with team members across departments to meet production deadlines Experience Prior warehouse or manufacturing experience preferred, especially in packaging or assembly roles Familiarity with forklift operation and warehouse safety procedures Basic mechanical knowledge, including the use of hand tools and troubleshooting machinery Understanding of FDA regulations, CGMP standards, and quality assurance practices in manufacturing environments Experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is advantageous but not mandatory Strong organizational skills with the ability to follow detailed instructions accurately Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards
