Open-ended temporary; approximately 2 months with potential for extension based on business needsShift:
Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM Job Summary The Packer will work as part of a manufacturing team responsible for preparing small components and finished products for storage or shipment. This position involves packaging, inspecting, labeling, and handling products according to established procedures and quality standards. Responsibilities Pack products and components into appropriate shipping containers according to packaging requirements. Seal, label, glue, band, or otherwise secure packages to ensure proper protection and identification. Assemble boxes, cartons, crates, and other shipping containers as needed. Perform visual and basic mechanical inspections of products and packaging. Complete inspection or production records as required. Report quality concerns or damaged products to a supervisor. Operate appropriate tools and equipment used for packaging. Keep the work area, tools, and equipment clean and organized. Assist with other production tasks as needed. Qualifications Strong attention to detail and good hand dexterity, particularly when handling small components. Good time management and ability to stay on task. Ability to follow detailed packaging and quality procedures. Comfortable using basic tools and production equipment. Previous manufacturing or packaging experience is helpful but not required. No previous experience with office software is required. Reliable attendance and willingness to work in a hands-on production environment. Education & Experience No formal education requirements. 0-1 year of manufacturing, production, or packaging experience is helpful. Training will be provided. Working Conditions & Physical Requirements Position may involve sitting or standing at a workbench for extended periods. Regular walking and movement between workstations may be required. Ability to occasionally lift or move items weighing up to 25 pounds. Ability to perform repetitive packing, inspection, and production tasks. Requires sustained visual attention when inspecting and handling components. Must be able to understand and follow written and verbal work instructions. Work is generally routine and consistent. Some areas of the facility may not be climate controlled and may have occasional exposure to heat, dust, or similar environmental conditions. #CNX100Pay:
