Primary Duties:
Keep a reasonable flow of meat products going through the packaging machines Inspect meat product and packaging before it becomes a final product to remove and catch deformities, imperfections, and any other quality control issue that may cause the product to be rejected Required to lift, push, and pull products to maintain a reasonable flow of products Place finished product into pre-formed boxes for distribution to customer Check temperature of product to ensure it has reached cool enough temperature required for packaging
Secondary Duties:
Occasionally required to make cartons and labels for packaging Occasionally required to place finished goods on the designated pallet for shipping Use good manufacturing practices for food handling Maintain a clean and sanitary workplace Perform other related duties and assignments as required All production workers are expected to be available to work in all areas of production
Physical Requirements:

Minimum Requirements Basic Job Requirements:
Must be 18 years of age or older Must have reliable transportation Must be United States citizen or authorized to work in the United States Must be willing to submit to a drug screen and background check Must be able to read and comprehend English Must know basic mathematic skills, such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division for purposes of a proper count of product in a variety of boxes and packaging sizes
