You will ensure that every package that leaves our production line meets our manufacturer's strict quality standards, with 100% accurate component counts and zero missing hardware.
Compensation:
$17 - $20 hourly
Responsibilities:
Kitting & Packaging Accurately count, bag, and label hardware kits, fittings, brackets, and automotive assemblies according to bill of materials (BOM) specs. Operate packaging machinery such as impulse heat sealers, poly-baggers, and automated counting scales. Carefully pack delicate anodized, machined, and powder-coated parts to prevent scratch damage or corrosion during shipping. Quality Control & Inspection Conduct visual inspections on outgoing parts for cosmetic defects, thread damage, or finish imperfections before final box sealing. Verify part numbers, labels, and packaging quantities against production work orders. Report any part shortages, quality defects, or inventory discrepancies to the production supervisor immediately. Floor Organization & Support Maintain clean, organized, and fully stocked packaging stations. Assist in organizing packaging supplies (boxes, foam, poly bags, labels) and report low stock levels. Work closely with production and shipping teams to ensure smooth daily order fulfillment flow.
Qualifications:
Experience:
1+ years in product packaging, warehouse kitting, or light manufacturing preferred. Attention to
Detail:
Extreme precision when counting small hardware (bolts, washers, O-rings, fittings)—missing a single nut stops a build!
Physical Stamina:
Ability to stand/walk for an 8-hour shift and regularly lift packages up to 50 lbs.
Manual Dexterity:
Strong hand-eye coordination for rapid counting, bagging, and box assembly.
Work Ethic:
Punctual, proactive, organized, and works well in a fast-moving environment.
Automotive Knowledge:
Familiarity or passion for cars and aftermarket automotive parts is a major plus!
