Job Description
JOB SUMMARY
A Material Stocker uses industrial equipment in handling and transferring material.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Accurately interpret pallet paperwork and labelsMaintain familiarity with plant layout and stock locationsSafely use a pallet jack in performing various tasksEnter plant receipt reports into computerized databaseReceive and stock materials in correct locationsIdentify all cabinet parts, components, and stock locationsMaintain a safe work environment, including housekeepingOther duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONS
Required Skills and Abilities:
Ability to identify cabinet types, wood species, finishes, and color variancesAbility to identify and process damaged or flawed material in lieu of stocking itAbility to use basic math concepts and read a standard tape measureRequired Education and Experience:
High school diploma or G.E.D.Required Physical Ability:
Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of timeFrequent bending, crouching, pulling, and pushingRegularly lift and/or move up to 20lb, occasionally lift and/or move up to 50lbWORKING CONDITIONS
