Job Description

• Position is part-time with opportunity for close to full time hours in October-December.
• Prior experience working in a butcher shop, meat dept, or deli is strongly preferred.
• Starting rate $15.00
• This is a fast-paced production type position.

Duties Include:

Use Vacuum Packer to package cuts Use stuffer to package ground meat Correctly label every package Keep meat separated by customer Identify cuts of meat, training provided Stuff snack sticks, bologna and hot dogs Read and follow customer cut sheet instructions Help with daily cleaning

Requirements :

Experience preferred

• but will train the right person.

Ability to stand for long hours in a cooled environment (about 50°) Ability to lift and carry 50+lbs Must have good personal hygiene; be clean and neat in personal appearance Good References Strong work ethic and dependable attendance Please either 1) send in a simple resume including past work experience and any relevant experience even if not a job (example; cutting up deer) OR 2) stop in and fill out an application.
