RESPONSIBILITIES

The following key responsibilities, although not necessarily an exhaustive list, are intended to represent an accurate reflection of the role. Primary Duties Clean, disinfect and maintain manufacturing process equipment and room surfaces. Weigh and dispense raw materials. Operate capsule filling, heat sealing/die cutting, compounding/gel filling, labeling and packaging machines according to approved batch records and procedures. Kit manufactured lots and place in inventory. Operate glasswasher, pH meters, balances, cold rooms, refrigerators/freezers and document in accordance with approved procedures. Adhere to approved procedures, regulatory filings and commitments using Good Documentation Practices compliant with USDA regulations and cGMPs (ICH Q7 and Part 210.211). Document all required process information in the batch record or logbooks in a timely fashion. Obtain USDA qualification for sampling and ensure others are qualified as well. Secondary Duties Conduct reviews of records, logs, procedures and other documentation for accuracy and completeness. Conduct component and supply inventory counts and initiate purchase orders when required. Suggesting improvements to increase manufacturing throughput and improve compliance is encouraged. requirements is mandatory.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

High school diploma or equivalent. cGMP experience at a USDA or FDA regulated facility preferred. Ability to perform with minimal supervision and to work cooperatively as part of a team. Frequently lift and/or move up to 60 pounds or greater (with assistance). Frequently move 55-gallon drums on drum dollies and pallets of material with pallet jacks.
