Want to help fight hunger in Western Michigan? Looking for more balance in your life with consistent hours and no nights or weekends? As a Picker / Packer, you will be an essential part of our team, ensuring that home-delivered meal orders are accurately selected, packed, and prepared for timely distribution. This role includes working in a refrigerated cooler environment to safely handle and organize food products. Your attention to detail, commitment to accuracy, and ability to work efficiently in a temperature-controlled setting will help ensure reliable fulfillment of meal orders for seniors in our community. First and foremost, align with our mission and values as an organization. Keep your supervisor informed about kitchen activities, needs, or challenges. Work closely with all departments to support MOWWM's mission and goals. Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, customers, and partners. Follow procedures to ensure compliance with Federal, State, and grant regulations. Package client meals and side order for delivery to program clients Transfer and stage packages for delivery drivers. Restock product and prepare inventory for next day's operations. Fulfill client meal orders inside commercial cooler, ensuring accuracy and proper food handling. Assist in packaging, stocking and organizing products within commercial cooler and freezer. Maintain a clean, organized, and accurate inventory of product stored in both the commercial cooler and freezer Assist with receiving, inspecting, and storing incoming products to support daily warehouse operations.
