Full Job Description Job Title:

Order Picker Join our dynamic team as an Order Picker for Pointe Dairy Services, you will play a vital role in our warehouse operations of Pointe Dairy Services a family owned and operated company, ensuring that products are accurately selected and prepared for shipment. Your attention to detail and efficiency will contribute significantly to our commitment to delivering exceptional service to our customers. Join us in creating a seamless flow of goods that keeps our business thriving! What you'll do Accurately pick and assemble orders based on pick tickets or handheld scanning devices Safely handle a variety of food products, including dry, refrigerated, and frozen goods Ensure all orders are complete, properly labeled, and staged for shipment Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks (manual or electric) and/or forklifts (if certified) Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse, including work areas and storage zones Follow all food safety standards, company policies, and workplace safety regulations Perform inventory checks and report discrepancies to supervisors Assist with receiving, stocking, and rotating inventory (FIFO practices) Meet productivity and accuracy targets in a fast-paced environmen Basic qualifications Previous experience in a warehouse or order picking role preferred (food distribution experience is an asset) Ability to work in temperature-controlled environments (ambient, refrigerated, and freezer areas) Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (23 kg) regularly Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods Basic math and reading skills for order verification Experience using RF scanners or warehouse management systems is an asset Forklift and pallet jack certification is an asset (or willingness to be trained) Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Work Schedule Monday to Friday (no weekends required) [9AM - Finish] Overtime may be available based on business needs Our benefits include: Competitive hourly wage: 16 to 18 per hour Overtime pay (where applicable) Health, vision and dental benefits (after probation period) Paid time off and holidays Opportunities for advancement within the company On-the-job training provided Work Environment Fast-paced warehouse setting Exposure to varying temperatures (dry, cooler, freezer) Team-oriented and safety-focused workplace
