Job Description
Packaging at Master Machine, Inc. 13956 Lincoln St. NE Ham Lake, MN 55304 Founded in 1977, we are a family-owned and led machine parts manufacturer in the Twin Cities Metropolitan area. As a company, our mission is to supply the parts necessary for the ever-growing global industrialization process. To accomplish this, we depend on the interconnectedness and determination of our team members. Therefore, as industrial demand increases, we must develop our team accordingly. Job Purpose To efficiently maintain operations by picking and packing machined parts. On-the-job training will be provided for those with the right attitude and willingness to learn. Schedule "First Shift", Full Time. 6:00 am to 4:30 pm from Monday to Thursday. Overtime on Fridays as Required. Organize and file paperwork. Ensuring products and components are correct for packaging. Assist with keeping the work area clean and free of clutter. Verifying that products meet quality standards. Packaging products into the proper box and/or tote for shipment. Follow directions from production leads and supervisors. Other duties as assigned. Essential Qualifications Be able to communicate effectively. Have computer skills. Be able to understand and follow standards, protocols, and procedures without excessive redirection. Have exemplary detail-oriented skills. Be able to cooperate with all co-workers and staff. Be able to work independently. Maintain Basic English communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience with assembly. Experience with packaging. Physical Requirements Be able to carry 50 pounds consistently and without help. Be able to carry, bend, push, and twist. The frequency will vary depending on the day's tasks. Be able to stand or sit for 10 hours per day.
