Job Description

Supports manufacturing operations by picking parts for assembly cells, maintaining inventory, stocking materials, and performing cycle counts. Job Requirements High school diploma or equivalent. 6 months to 1 year of parts picking, cycle counting, or related material handling experience in a manufacturing environment. Basic to intermediate computer skills with the ability to navigate multiple systems and screens. Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel. Basic math skills for inventory quantities, counts, and material transactions. Ability to be trained to operate a forklift. Ability to be trained to operate an overhead crane. Preferred Skills Previous experience supplying parts or materials to manufacturing assembly cells. Experience performing inventory cycle counts. Forklift operation experience. Overhead crane operation experience. Experience with computerized inventory or material management systems. Job Responsibilities Pick and stage parts for manufacturing assembly cells. Stock and maintain inventory according to established procedures. Perform inventory cycle counts and reconcile material quantities. Verify part numbers, quantities, and material requirements. Enter and maintain inventory information in applicable computer systems. Deliver materials and components to designated production areas. Maintain organized inventory and material storage locations. Operate material handling equipment after required training and authorization. Support inventory control and material movement activities throughout the manufacturing facility.
Pay:
20-22/hr Benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, term life insurance, short-term disability insurance, additional voluntary benefits, commuter benefits and 401K plan.
