Full Job Description Job Overview:
Sort and package produce products according to line leader and department supervisor specifications. Maintain sanitized and safe work stations and work practices. Will be working in a colder environment of 38 degrees.
Compensation:
$16.37 hour Essential Qualifications Grade, classify, clean, and sort products according to sizes, weights, colors, or other specifications and package accordingly. Work in clean, organized and safe manner. Notify supervisors and other personnel of production problems, and assist in identifying and correcting these problems. Trimming and cutting fresh produce, placing in produce bags, trays, or other packaging. Physical Demands Stand, walk, manually manipulate and reach outward constantly. Lift, push, pull and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently. Schedule Production shifts are 5 days per week. Working Saturdays and having Sunday and one weekday off. 7:00 am start time until planned production is completed. Opportunities for over-time. Work Environment The production room is refrigerated and maintained at a temperature of approximately 38 degrees at all times.
