Job Title:

Picker and Packer Job Description The Picker and Packer will be responsible for efficiently pulling and delivering parts for shop and work orders. The role includes stocking in-house manufactured and vendor-received parts, processing material requests and returns, conducting cycle counts, and managing customer orders. Responsibilities Pull parts for machine shop and work orders using pick lists. Pick, pack, and stage work orders for assembly operations. Receive parts from outside vendors following ISO and departmental procedures. Operate and maintain automated carousel/vertical parts storage system. Ensure protection of parts and deliver them to the next work center. Stock in-house and vendor receipt parts, verify quantities, check for shortages, and complete necessary procedures. Process material return and request forms and IRAD replacement requests. Pull parts for customer orders and deliver to the shipping and receiving department. Perform cycle counts as required. Maintain the work area in a clean and orderly fashion. Essential Skills Proficiency in packing, packaging, and picking. Experience with inventory management and RF scanners. Additional Skills & Qualifications High attention to detail. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Strong communication skills. Regular attendance is essential. Physical ability to regularly sit, stand, bend, reach, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and move about the facility. Capability to frequently lift up to 50 pounds. Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Earth city, MO. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
