The Packaging Specialist is responsible for accurately weighing, packaging, and labeling cannabis products in compliance with state regulations and company standards. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities:
Weighing and Packaging:
Accurately weigh cannabis products and place them into appropriate containersLabeling:
Ensure all products are labeled correctly with the necessary information, including strain, weight, and potencyQuality Control:
Maintain high standards of quality control to ensure products meet company and regulatory standardsInventory Management:
Track and manage inventory of packaging materials and finished productsCompliance:
Adhere to all state and local regulations regarding cannabis packaging and labelingSanitation:
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the packaging area, ensuring all equipment is sanitized regularlyTeam Collaboration:
Work closely with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and meet production targetsReporting:
Document and report any discrepancies or issues with packaging processesQualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines Knowledge of state and local cannabis regulations is a plus Excellent communication and teamwork skills Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds Ability to consistently wear appropriate PPE (ie; masks, gloves, Tyvek suits) to prevent cross contamination and uphold cleanliness standardsBenefits:

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is consistently required to remain stationary and standing for several hours at a time; they are also required to maneuver throughout the facility, and to work with different tools, machines, and shipments- occasionally being asked to lift up to 25 lbs. The employee will also be required to focus on and observe multiple processes throughout their shift. The employee must be prepared to work in varying temperatures
- to include both hot and cold
- throughout the facility.
