Shift- 2nd shift Monday -Saturday 4PM-12AM Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Packer to join our manufacturing and warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently preparing products for shipment, ensuring that packaging standards and quality regulations are strictly followed. The ideal candidate will possess mechanical aptitude, familiarity with packaging processes, and experience working in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to the seamless flow of production and distribution operations while maintaining high standards of safety and compliance. Responsibilities Carefully pack finished products using appropriate packaging materials, ensuring protection during transit Operate hand tools and mechanical equipment to assemble packaging components accurately Utilize forklifts and other warehouse equipment to move materials safely within the facility Follow packaging protocols in accordance with manufacturing specifications and quality standards Maintain cleanliness and organization of packing stations to promote efficiency and safety Assist in inventory management by accurately labeling, sorting, and documenting packaged items Support adherence to FDA regulations, CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices), and other regulatory requirements Collaborate with production teams to meet daily packing quotas while maintaining quality control Conduct routine inspections of packaged products for defects or inconsistencies Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize packing processes Skills Mechanical knowledge with experience using hand tools and assembly techniques Familiarity with packaging procedures within a manufacturing setting Knowledge of FDA regulations, CGMP standards, and quality assurance practices Experience operating forklifts and warehouse equipment safely Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in labeling and documentation Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety protocols Basic understanding of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is a plus but not mandatory Prior experience in manufacturing or warehouse environments is highly desirable This role is integral to our production process, ensuring that products are packaged correctly, safely, and efficiently for delivery.
