Position Overview (Briefly describe primary purpose of position. No more than 2-3 sentences.) The primary function of this position is to identify, verify, determine status and prioritize orders, obtain, scan, wrap, and transport cases of product to the shipping belt or the appropriate loading dock. Essential Functions Review and perform quality tests on RF Scanner and other equipment related to completing tasks Check work orders in effort to identify, verify, and determine status of orders in an effort to prioritize work load Obtain full orders and/or cases and garments to fill incomplete orders Stage cases, scan case information into the database, seal cases with tape dispenser, shrink wrap full pallets when needed Transport cases to the loading dock or shipping belt by hand, with a hand cart or other PIT (if prior PIT certification has completed by the Safety department) as required Load orders onto trailers as needed Enter the appropriate data and product information in to the system and complete required paperwork Communication with the staging desk to acquire batch orders and ensure correct labels Utilization of Pick to light equipment and software to complete batch request for customers Navigation of the picking department as needed to determine the correct location for products to be replenished Read and scan SKU's of the appropriate items as directed Correctly identify flow rack and product location needed to select product as requested by customer batch orders Remove empty cartons from flow racks, pull down full cartons, verify SKU's, location and garments and rubber band box flaps Cases seal cartons and place on shipping conveyor in the designated location Secure all assigned equipment daily Fill out all daily documentation associated with the picking process Perform additional job duties as assigned by your supervisor/manager Set-Up for Daily Operations At the beginning of the shift, the employee will review the work instructions and schedule with the supervisor. The employee will obtain supplies required to perform the work and prepare for operations. The employee will put on all of the required PPE and safety gear.
