Foss Recycling is seeking a dedicated Metal Sorter/Picker to join our team at our Reidsville, NC shredder facility. In this role, you'll work at the heart of our metal recycling operation, sorting materials on a conveyor belt to ensure quality and efficiency in processing scrap metal.

Responsibilities:

Sort and separate metals and non-metallic materials from the conveyor belt. Identify and remove contaminants to maintain material purity. Assist in keeping the shredder line running smoothly and efficiently. Report equipment issues or safety concerns to supervisors.

Safety Requirements:

Wear provided personal protective equipment (PPE) including hard hat, safety glasses, steel-toed boots, and gloves. Follow all safety protocols to ensure a secure work environment. Participate in regular safety training and briefings.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced setting. Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. and performing repetitive tasks. Comfortable working in varying temperatures and around dust/noise. No experience required—training provided!
