Job Description
Supports Packaging teams in improving site packaging capability and efficiency. This resource develops and empowers production packaging teams to safely run and maintain their equipment and areas by designing, developing, organizing and assisting with packaging training and core competency assessments before qualifying Packaging trainers and evaluating the quality of qualified trainees in conjunction with management. The Packaging Specialist also supports process improvement teams and initiatives to support business goals by promoting the CI culture. High School diploma or equivalent 2-5 Years in manufacturing training / certification. 3-5 years as an Operator Assist with coordination, scheduling and facilitating employee training, including creating and maintaining the training profiles and ensuring completion for all new hires by existing Trainers on shift. Spend majority of time on the packaging floor. Utilize knowledge, skills and abilities to ensure equipment is running at optimal performance and efficiency to improve capacity.
