Monday Through Friday 1:00 pm to 9:30 pm Order Picker / Forklift Position Purpose and Objectives To support the production operation by delivering a steady flow of picked components to the staging areas, and assisting with the inventory control process. Order Picker / Forklift Essential Job Functions Must follow all GMP's and relevant SOP's that applies to the position. Be able to safely operate warehouse equipment such as hand jacks, forklift, etc. Monitor pick order tray for new job assignments. Pick components from location and deliver them to the packaging staging area. Confirm components picked by using a scanner to update inventory in the SAP system. Complete all paperwork in a timely and accurate manner. Inform the Inventory Control Clerk of component not found/wrong component found on assigned locations for alternate locations. Assist during physical inventory periods. Assists in general warehouse duties as required. Order Picker / Forklift Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required Basic math skills. Be able to operate warehouse equipment. Willing to learn and apply new skills. Order Picker / Forklift Supervisory Responsibility N/A Order Picker / Forklift Working Conditions Multi task environment. Strong interaction with team members, and representatives from other departments. Minimum Qualifications Must be able communicate in the English language, and perform basic mathematical operations. Must be forklift certified. Must be able to work with minimum supervision. Must be able to lift heavy objects (40 lb. average). Success Factors Team Player, self motivated, well organized
