Full Job Description Overview:

We are actively seeking a Material Handler to server the Receiving department and the operations day to day in a safe and timely manner. Responsibilities:
Essential Functions:
Take orders from supervisors for order picking activities. Assist in loading and unloading items from delivery trucks. Prepare pallets for handling objects appropriately. Perform pre-checks on electric pallet jacks to ensure that they are in proper working order. Ensure that electric pallet jacks are maintained on a periodic basis. Pick orders from storage areas and verify the accuracy of orders from order sheets. Perform a variety of warehousing tasks such as replenishing pick locations. Perform labeling, sorting, and storing of picked products.
Qualifications:
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively. Strong problem solving skills Must read and write in English The ability to read and understand invoices and storage directions Team player
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or Equivalent. Minimum of 2 years order picking experience in warehouse environment. Experience in operating an electric pallet jack
Physical Requirements:
Maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations, to include wearing safety equipment Perform tasks such as lifting 50-75 pounds with assistance, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing and/or pulling for up work in a loud/noisy, and industrial, high-volume environment Physical ability to walk and stand on concrete for the duration of the work shift, in increments of up to 6-8 hours.
