Under the direction of the Packaging Manager, packaging associates weigh/measure and package cannabis products for resale. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to remain in a stationary position, move and/or position oneself, communicate, operate, and/or prepare, place, position objects, tools, or controls. The employee must occasionally move packages weighing up to 25 lb. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close observation and the ability to adjust focus. Packaging associates must maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, quality, and sanitation. Ensure that products are packed and accounted for in accordance with company policy and state regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit; sticking labels, accurate counts, properly sealing and inserting products into bags and jars
- Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
- Keeps equipment operational by completing preventative maintenance requirements such as: following cleaning protocols, troubleshooting malfunctions, and calling for repairs when needed
- Conserves resources by proficient utilization of equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results
- Maintains all needed recording keeping procedures such as by completing production and quality forms
- Manages time efficiently to meet productivity goals while consistently producing quality work
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
- Maintains room awareness.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be 21 years old
- Must be able to lift 25lbs or more
- Drug test
- Background check required to be able to register with the state's cannabis commission as an agent
Pay:
$16.00 - $17.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per weekBenefits:
