This role is essential for ensuring efficient order fulfillment, accurate inventory management, and timely shipping operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, safety consciousness, and the ability to operate various warehouse equipment. Duties Select and pick customer orders accurately using barcode scanning systems and order picker equipment. Pack products securely, ensuring quality control standards are met and items are protected during transit. Operate heavy equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual handling tools safely and efficiently. Load and unload shipments using appropriate warehouse distribution techniques while adhering to safety protocols. Maintain precise inventory records within warehouse management systems (WMS) and conduct regular stock counts. Prepare shipments for dispatch by labeling, sealing, and verifying order accuracy with RF scanners. Assist in shipping and receiving processes, including barcode scanning for logistics tracking. Follow safety procedures consistently, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) during all tasks. Support warehouse operations by stocking shelves, organizing materials, and managing materials handling tasks. Collaborate with team members to meet daily productivity goals during peak seasons. Qualifications Proven experience in warehouse operations or distribution centers, with familiarity in picking & packing processes. Hands-on experience operating warehouse equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, and RF scanners. Knowledge of inventory management systems and barcode scanning technology. Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for inventory counts and order processing. Strong understanding of safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation and manual handling. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in order fulfillment and quality control. Prior experience working under safety guidelines with personal protective equipment (PPE). Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment during peak seasons while maintaining accuracy. Good communication skills to coordinate with team members and supervisors effectively.
