Islandia, NY Job Summary WCD Warehouse is looking for a dependable, hardworking Order Picker / Selector to join our warehouse team. The Order Picker / Selector is responsible for accurately selecting, organizing, and preparing products for customer orders and shipment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, physically capable, safety-conscious, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Responsibilities Accurately pick and select products according to customer orders. Verify product numbers, quantities, and descriptions to ensure order accuracy. Safely operate warehouse equipment as trained and authorized. Organize and stage completed orders for loading and delivery. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Follow all warehouse safety procedures and company policies. Assist with receiving, stocking, loading, unloading, and other warehouse duties as needed. Inspect products for damage or discrepancies and report issues to management. Meet productivity and accuracy standards. Work cooperatively with warehouse staff, drivers, and management. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous warehouse, order picking, distribution, or material-handling experience preferred. Ability to read and understand product numbers, labels, and order information. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Ability to work in a fast-paced physical environment. Ability to safely lift, carry, push, and pull warehouse products. Must be willing to follow safety procedures and proper lifting techniques. Forklift or pallet jack experience is a plus. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to regularly lift and move boxes and warehouse products. Ability to bend, reach, squat, and climb as required. Ability to safely handle products throughout the warehouse.
