Yancey's Fancy is a family‑owned cheese company known for crafting award‑winning cheeses with pride and tradition. We're currently seeking dependable Packaging Associates to join our production team and help ensure our products reach customers with the quality and care we're known for. 2nd

Shift:

Monday-Thursday, 2:00 PM - 12:30 AM Starting pay: $18.50/hour What You'll Do As a Packaging Associate, you'll play an important role in our production process by packaging cheese products safely, accurately, and efficiently while meeting quality and food safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Package cheese products according to established specifications and quality standards Follow all food safety, sanitation, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) Maintain a steady production pace while paying close attention to detail Inspect packaged products for defects and report concerns to supervisors Keep work areas clean, safe, and organized Adhere to all safety rules, policies, and procedures Assist in other packaging or production areas as needed Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production goals What We're Looking For High School Diploma or GED required Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing Basic math and reading comprehension skills Reliable, team‑focused attitude with a strong work ethic Willingness to learn new tasks and adapt in a fast‑paced environment Manufacturing experience preferred; food manufacturing experience strongly preferred Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 40 pounds Ability to bend, reach, grasp, push, and pull throughout the shift Ability to stand, walk, and climb for 8+ hours per shift Comfortable working in varying temperatures depending on department Why Work at Yancey's Fancy?
