BOARD-CERTIFIED BEHAVIORAL ANALYST
(BCBA)
QUALIFICATIONS
School Psychologist Certification and/or Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) preferred. Other special education related certifications and/or LBA will be considered . Fingerprint Clearance SALARY No less than $45,000, Negotiable based on experience. The Pembroke Central School District is seeking a qualified and collaborative professional to serve as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) who will support students with behavioral, social-emotional and developmental needs through evidence-based behavioral practices. The BCBA will collaborate with teachers, administrators, related service providers, families and multidisciplinary teams to support positive student outcomes within the 3 school buildings. The BCBA reports directly to the Coordinator of Pupil Personnel Services. Responsibilities Development and implementation of Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs), Behavioral Intervention Plans (BIPs) and Applied Behavior Analyses (ABA). Analyze behavioral data to guide individualized and classroom-based interventions. Provide consultation and coaching to teachers, paraprofessionals, and administrators regarding behavioral supports and strategies. Support students with behavioral and social-emotional needs, including students with Autism Spectrum Disorders. Support crisis prevention, intervention, and de-escalation planning. Provide professional development and staff training related to behavior management and evidence-based practices. Collaborate with families, district programs and community agencies to support student programming and transitions. Participate in CSE meetings and provide recommendations regarding behavioral supports and placements. Maintain documentation, progress-monitoring, and behavioral-data systems.
