Warehouse Picker/Packer (2nd Shift-Multiple positions)
Location:
Hicksville, NY Available Shifts & Pay 2nd
Shift:
2:30 PM - 10:30 PM — $18.00/hour Job Summary We are seeking dependable and detail-oriented Warehouse Picker/Packers to join our distribution team. In this role, you will accurately pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment while maintaining a safe, organized, and efficient warehouse environment. The ideal candidate is reliable, works well in a fast-paced setting, and is committed to meeting productivity and quality standards. Responsibilities Pick customer orders accurately using pick tickets, RF scanners, or warehouse management systems. Verify item numbers, quantities, and product quality before packing. Pack products securely to prevent damage during shipping. Label and prepare shipments according to company and carrier requirements. Replenish inventory in picking locations as needed. Assist with receiving, stocking, and organizing incoming merchandise. Perform quality checks to ensure order accuracy. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Follow all company safety procedures and warehouse policies. Work collaboratively with supervisors and team members to meet daily production goals. Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts when required. Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment safely (forklift experience is a plus). Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous warehouse, picking, packing, shipping, or distribution experience preferred but not required. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly. Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift. Basic math and reading skills. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Dependable attendance and punctuality. Willingness to work overtime as needed. Work Environment Fast-paced warehouse and distribution center. Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of products. Standing and walking for extended periods throughout the workday.
