$18.25 per hourSchedule:
Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:00 PM Position Summary The Leaker is responsible for inspecting finished products for leaks, damaged seals, packaging defects, and other quality issues during the manufacturing process. This role ensures products meet company quality and food safety standards before shipment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Inspect products for leaks, damaged packaging, improper seals, and other defects. Remove defective products from the production line. Perform rework and repackaging of products when required. Monitor product quality and report issues to supervisors. Maintain accurate records of rejected and reworked products. Assist with palletizing, stacking, and preparing finished goods for shipment. Follow all safety, sanitation, and food safety procedures. Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards. Work as part of a team to meet daily production goals. Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred. Manufacturing or production experience is a plus but not required. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Dependable attendance and punctuality. Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods during the shift. Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds. Ability to perform repetitive movements and work in a fast-paced environment. Comfortable working around production equipment and machinery. Work Environment Food and beverage manufacturing facility. Exposure to production equipment, noise, and varying temperatures. Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to all company safety standards.
