The Inspector/Packer is responsible for inspecting and packing bottles on assigned production line(s) in a team-oriented production environment where you'll stay active, contribute to product quality, and perform light physical duties in a safe and modern manufacturing setting. This position plays a critical role in ensuring product quality, maintaining a clean and safe work area, and supporting efficient production operations. Inspect bottles on assigned production line(s) to ensure quality standards are met. Pack finished bottles according to established procedures and production requirements. Maintain housekeeping on assigned line(s) and surrounding work areas, including mopping when necessary. Assemble cartons as assigned to support production needs. Promote and maintain a safe working environment by following all company safety policies and procedures. Understand and comply with all Silgan safety requirements to prevent injury to self and co-workers. Work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining quality and productivity standards.

Work Environment:

This position operates in a fast-paced light duty manufacturing environment and requires adherence to all safety, quality, and housekeeping standards.

Work Schedule :

2-2-3 Schedule, 8:00am-8:00pm 3-4-3 Schedule, 8:00pm-8:00am Work 14-16 days per month!

Salary:

$18.09 per hour, plus $1.00 per hour night shift differential

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during the work shift. Ability to perform repetitive motions involving hands, arms, and upper body. Ability to lift, carry, and handle production materials and cartons as required. Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery, noise, and varying temperatures.
