Job Description
Adecco is assisting a local client recruiting for Packaging Associate opportunities in Skaneateles Falls, NY. Responsibilities for a Packaging Associate include but are not limited to: Perform primary packaging and labeling of cuff production lines, component parts, and final assemblies according to work instructions and SOPs to prevent shipment damage. Maintain accurate inventory levels, replenish line materials, and stack boxes/pallets in compliance with 6S principles and safety standards. Inspect materials and products visually to ensure compliance with quality control standards (GMP), immediately escalating any defects or non-conformities to Team Leaders. Adhere to corporate Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) procedures, participate in lean manufacturing/Kaizen continuous improvement events, and complete all required safety and skills training. Candidates for Packaging Associate must meet the following requirements to be considered: High School Diploma or GED required (No prior experience necessary; comprehensive on-the-job training provided). Ability to read, comprehend, and follow written work instructions, job specifications, and assembly drawings accurately. Strong visual acuity and manual dexterity, including the ability to perform fine motor tasks, detect product defects, and distinguish color-coded components. Physical capability to stand/walk for 8-12 hour shifts and lift up to 35 lbs. floor-to-waist, 23 lbs. to shoulder height, and perform repetitive bending, twisting, and reaching (lifting over 40 lbs. requires a team lift).
