Get Paid to Learn a Trade If you like working with your hands and would rather be moving around machines than sitting at a desk, this is a ground-floor opportunity on our extrusion lines. You will work next to experienced extrusion operators, learn how plastic products are actually made, and pick up real skills — measuring, quality checks, tooling, machine operation, and basic troubleshooting — while you are on the clock. You will start by learning the production line as an Assembly / Packer Associate while gaining hands-on exposure to extrusion equipment and the manufacturing process. What You Will Do Work at different stations along the extrusion production lines Inspect parts and perform quality checks Assemble and package finished products Follow spec sheets, work instructions, and blueprints Use measuring tools and basic power tools Work directly alongside extrusion machine operators Identify quality issues and communicate them to the operator Prepare finished goods for shipment Keep your work area clean, organized, and safe Help the team meet daily production goals This is active, physical work. You will be on your feet and moving throughout the shift. What You Will Learn You will gain hands-on exposure to: Extrusion machinery and machine operation Quality control Measuring tools Tooling Basic troubleshooting Preventive maintenance Workplace safety As you gain experience, employees who show mechanical ability, reliability, and a willingness to learn can be given more technical responsibility and opportunities to advance. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Basic math skills including adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing Ability to read, sort, count, check, and verify numbers accurately Strong attention to detail Good manual dexterity Ability to understand and follow safety procedures Ability to communicate clearly with coworkers and supervisors Willingness to learn Previous assembly or manufacturing experience is preferred, but not required . Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 40 pounds Ability to stand and move for the length of a full shift Ability to use hands, arms, and legs to handle and transport finished goods Ability to move quickly between machines and production areas Ability to perform repetitive and physically demanding work

Pay:

$16.00 - $18.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
