Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Order Puller/Packer to join our warehouse operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting, packing, and preparing products for shipment, ensuring timely and precise order fulfillment. The ideal candidate will possess strong manual handling skills, familiarity with warehouse management systems, and experience operating various types of heavy equipment such as reach trucks and forklifts. This position plays a vital role in maintaining efficient warehouse distribution processes, supporting inventory accuracy, and upholding safety standards across all operations. Duties Efficiently pick orders using barcode scanning technology and order picker equipment to ensure accuracy. Operate warehouse equipment including reach trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery safely and effectively. Pack products securely according to specified packaging guidelines while maintaining quality control standards. Load and unload shipments using appropriate material handling equipment while adhering to safety protocols. Maintain accurate inventory records within warehouse management systems (WMS) and update stock levels accordingly. Assist in shipping and receiving tasks by verifying incoming and outgoing shipments against purchase orders. Conduct manual handling of materials, including heavy lifting, following proper ergonomic practices. Use RF scanners and barcode scanning for logistics to streamline order fulfillment processes. Support warehouse distribution activities by stocking shelves, organizing inventory, and preparing orders for dispatch. Follow safety procedures consistently, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), to ensure a safe working environment. Perform quality control checks on packed items before shipment to minimize errors. Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow efficiency and improve operational procedures. Experience Prior experience in warehouse operations or distribution centers is highly preferred. Proven ability to operate heavy equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, and pallet jacks safely. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory management systems. Experience with order picking, packing, shipping & receiving processes. Knowledge of barcode scanning technology for logistics purposes. Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying quantities accurately. Strong understanding of safety protocols related to manual handling and heavy equipment operation. Previous experience in warehouse supervision or team leadership is a plus but not mandatory. Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail. Pay:
$17.75 - $218.00 per hour
