Job Description

As a Packaging Specialist you will learn to operate a variety of bottling, canning and kegging machines in a fast paced, team-oriented environment. You will also learn and support the team in maintaining Safety and Quality standards. Essential Functions Work as part of a team and complete tasks as assigned on the production floor Operate machinery and equipment
  • Loading and unloads items from machines and conveyors Monitor and inspect products for quality and safety standards Transfer finished products or raw materials between storage and work areas by hand or using hand trucks or powered lift trucks Communicate with supervisors and leads concerning safety, quality, and processing issues Remove products, machine attachments, or waste material from machines as directed Provide cleaning and sanitation of assigned areas Responsible for the health and safety of self and co-workers
Available Shifts Regular Schedule :
Day Shift 3 x 12s
  • FRI•SUN 6:00 am•6:30 pm (last 2 hours of each shift are paid at time and a half) Ideal candidates will have previous experience working in a manufacturing environment and operating machinery.
Qualifications Must be 18 years of age. Must be flexible in scheduling and willing to work overtime and holidays as needed Ability to work successfully with a team Must have the ability to perform repetitive tasks quickly and accurately
Physical Requirements & Working Conditions:
Fast paced and constantly changing work environment. Subject to extreme temperatures. Ability to ascend/descend stairs and ladders throughout shift. Ability to stand/move for 10-12 hours per day. This is an active, fast paced, job requiring working on your feet most of the shift with occasional to frequent lifting of 20 to 40 pounds Must wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including, but not limited to, safety glasses and safety reinforced toe boots (as required by company policy). Must be able to stand for an extended period, climb, reach, walk, lift, grasp, feel, bend and twist Ability to work in tight or enclosed spaces.

Compensation:
Starting Pay:
$18.00 per hour base pay + premium pay
Increases:
90-day wage increases
