$15.00/hr starting out then moves to a piece rate.
Job description:
Objective:
We are looking for a Pallet Builder to join our team. This is a piece rate position, which means your pay is based on your production. The more you produce, the more you earn. This role is best for someone who is self-motivated and wants to control their own pay.
Key Responsibilities:
Build pallets according to specification sheets provided by Scheduling. Maintain a clean and organized work area, free of hazards. Read and understand pallet build specifications. Select the correct materials by verifying wood length and thickness (e.g., ½" vs. ¾"). Use the proper nail gun, with the correct nails, based on the material and specification. Obtain approval from a Quality Inspector on the first completed pallet before continuing production. Secure all tools, including nail guns, in the designated locked storage at the end of each shift. Work efficiently to meet productivity goals.
Job Requirements:
Must be 18 years or older Able to lift up to 50 lbs Able to stand for the full shift Able to use or learn to use a nail gun and read a tape measure Works well with others Self-driven and able to keep up in a fast-paced, physical job Reliable and shows up to work on time
