Description Description Hourly Rate:
$17.75 DESCRIPTION/JOB SUMMARY To use RF Scanners to manually pick parts from set locations to accurately and efficiently fulfill customer orders
RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES
  • Use RF Scanner to pick parts from set locations and deliver them to Quality Inspection/Packaging area using a wheeled-cart
  • Ensure proper parts and accurate quantities are picked according to order specifications
  • Package orders and prepare them for shipping using the Matrix/ProductionWare, Oracle, UPS and FedEx systems
  • Use hand tools to combine smaller parts into larger assembly
  • Cycle count inventory as needed and report shortages
  • Use multi-step platform ladders, Pallet Jacks, and other equipment to pick and move product as needed
  • Ensure all safety and security rules are strictly observed and any accidents, incidents or injuries are promptly reported to management
  • Complete the Annual CTPAT Security Training
  • Focus on continuous improvement, and consistently demonstrate good business judgment
  • Work effectively with all Pride departments to exceed internal and external expectations
  • Assist with organization and cleaning of work area, keeping aisles and walkways clear at all times
  • Pride retains the discretion to modify duties and/or assign other duties as necessary
REQUIRED SKILLS
  • Must be a team player, friendly, detail-oriented, and honest Must have the ability to:
  • Multi-task, problem-solve, and prioritize in a fast-paced working environment
  • Utilize Pride systems
  • Stand/walk entire workday
  • Safely use hand tools
  • Use multi-step platform ladders to safely pick orders from elevated locations
  • Lift/Push/Pull up to 50lbs.
  • Work extended hours, including weekends, as business needs dictate Must have:
  • Relentless drive to achieve advancement and continuous improvement
  • A willingness to learn and/or adapt to new work methods
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic computer skills
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
  • No experience required
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
  • At least 1 year of hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
  • At least 1 year of experience using RF Scanners or similar equipment preferred
  • At least 1 year of experience using ORACLE, UPS and FedEx shipping systems preferred
  • Current or previous successful employment experience with Pride Mobility Products Corporation preferred
PREFERRED EDUCATION
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred
