The Ceramic Shop in Norristown is seeking an energetic and eager individual to join the team of our quickly-expanding business.

Job description:

The picker/packer/processor is responsible for picking order tickets and processing them by completing any required paperwork, locating items in the warehouse, then moving them to the processing and shipping area. The picker/packer will then pack orders and prepare them to be shipped. They must inspect the items to ensure that they're not damaged or missing any parts, and finally package them according to specifications. This person will also be responsible for various administrative tasks such as processing orders though the web que and printing shipping labels. The ideal applicant will have the following qualifications: Having good mathematical abilities Demonstrating verbal and written communication skills Being proficient in basic computer applications Experience with ceramic materials and supplies Excellent attention to detail- able to spot problems and quickly correct them. Ability to lift 50 lbs and able to stand for long periods of time. We are a ceramic supply company that supplies our customers with 50 lb boxes of clay and dry material. Be prepared to move and lift heavy boxes on a daily basis Able to work 5 days a week, including weekends. Tuesday-Saturday from 9am-5pm. Physical Demands:

This position involves moving, talking, hearing, reaching, grabbing and standing for at least two consecutive hours at a time. Must be able to lift 50 lb clay boxes everyday. May occasionally involve stooping, kneeling, crouching and climbing ladders, and handle dry material with proper precautions / Enthusiastic, friendly and energetic with a genuine desire to provide outstanding service / Available to work a variety of hours, which may include early mornings, evenings, weekends and on special events ie; Blowout Sales. / High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred, ceramics background with kiln experience ideal.
